1. Reception. At 3 Para, Merville Barracks, Falklands Road, Colchester. Members should arrive between 1400hrs and 1600hrs. You will be met at the main entrance to Merville Barracks by a member of the Provost Staff who will issue you with a car pass and directions to the main WO’s & Sgt’s Mess car park. Refreshments will be available on arrival in the Mess. The postcode for Merville Barracks is CO2 7UT.
For those staying in Hotels – arrive any time after 1600. N.B. There is no transport provided to take you back to your hotel after the function.

2. Transit accommodation. Cherry Tree Camp is situated approx 1 mile from Merville Barracks. It has 115 bed spaces and will be available for Reunion Club members between 1400hrs on Saturday 20st March and 1200hrs Sunday 21st March. After the reception in the Mess you will be taken by minibus to Cherry Tree Camp to settle into your accommodation, get changed etc and then be ferried back to the Mess for the AGM and function. You will be on mattresses so you will need your own bedding/sleeping bags. You will be ferried back to Merville Barracks on Sunday morning for breakfast and departure.

3. Timings:
a. 1400 - 1600 Reception to include the move to Cherry Tree Camp
b. 1600 onwards Return by minibus to the WO’s & Sgt’s Mess
c. 1600 hrs Bar opens
d. 1600 -1800 Stands and PRI stall
e. 1800 hrs AGM (bottle bar available)
f. 1900 hrs Fire Brief (Provost Sgt)
g. 2000 hrs Buffet
h. 0200 hrs Bar closes
i. 0745 onwards Return by minibus to the WO’s & Sgt’s Mess
j. 0800 – 1000 Breakfast
k. 1000 – 1200 Depart

Dress. Dress in the mess from 1600hrs will be lounge suits, jacket/blazer and tie.

Bar. The bar will be cash only.

Bottle bar. There will be a free bottle bar from 1800hrs.

Menu. Available will be: Thai Green Chicken Curry with Scallion tips, Fillet Beef Stroganoff with Portabella Mushrooms, Medallions of Pork Fillet with Green Bell Peppers in a Cider Mustard Sauce, Homemade Verde Lasagne and a Vegetarian option.
Transport. A minibus will be available throughout the evening to transport guests back to Cherry Tree Camp when required.
